• Bindle vs Pinboard

  Pinboard charges $22 a year, or $39 with archiving and full-text search. Bindle is $20 with both included, plus dead-link detection, lists and an MCP server, on an interface built this decade. Same API vocabulary, so your scripts keep working.

• Bindle vs Raindrop.io

  Raindrop.io is free for unlimited bookmarks, with permanent copies, full-text search and broken-link detection in Pro at about $28 a year. Bindle is $20 a year with all three included, no free tier, and a plain text-first interface instead of a visual one.

• Bindle vs Instapaper

  Instapaper is a reading app: reader view, Kindle, text-to-speech, with a permanent archive and full-text search in Premium at $59.99 a year. Bindle is a bookmarking service with the full-page archive and search included at $20. Different jobs; this page says which is which.

• Moving from Pocket to Bindle

  Pocket shut down on July 8, 2025 and deleted everything on November 12. If you have the export ZIP, Bindle imports it with tags, dates and unread state intact and archives every page. If you missed the window, here is what can still be recovered.
