The deal, in plain words.

These are the terms for using Bindle (bindle.link). They are short because the service is simple. Last updated August 2026.

The service

Bindle saves links you give it and keeps a copy of each page — the original HTML and its text, indexed for search — so the page is still readable after the original goes away. It costs $20 a year, after a 14-day trial that needs no card. When the trial ends without a subscription, your library stays readable and exportable, but saving stops. Cancel any time; a full refund is yours if you ask within thirty days of paying.

Your copies stay private

Archived copies are visible only to accounts that saved the same URL. Bindle never publishes an archived copy to the public and never redistributes one. What a public bookmark or list exposes is the original link, the title, and whatever notes and tags you chose to make public — not the stored page.

What you can’t do

• Save or share content that is illegal to possess or distribute.
• Save content you know infringes someone else’s rights, or use Bindle to redistribute it.
• Use the API, the importer or the extension as a general-purpose crawler. Saving is quota-limited (currently 2,000 archives per day); machine-scale fetching beyond that will be throttled or suspended.
• Use Bindle to attack other sites or people: no probing, scraping campaigns, harassment collections, phishing or spam lists.
• Ask Bindle to get around paywalls, logins, DRM or other access controls. Bindle fetches what an anonymous visitor can see, nothing more.
• Share your account or resell access.

Copyright and takedowns

Bindle stores pages at the direction of the person who saved them. If you hold rights to something stored here and believe it shouldn’t be, send a notice to dmca@bindle.link with the URL, what you own, your contact details, a good-faith statement, and a signature. Valid notices are acted on promptly: the copy is disabled and the account that saved it is told why and how to counter-notify. Accounts that repeatedly save infringing material are closed.

Abuse and legal

Report a public list or profile that is being used for spam, phishing, harassment or anything else on the list above to abuse@bindle.link. Legal process — preservation requests, subpoenas, warrants — goes to legal@bindle.link. Bindle keeps little data and produces only what the law requires.

Ending things

You can delete your account from Settings at any time; that removes your bookmarks, notes, tags and archived copies. Bindle can suspend or close an account that breaks these terms, and will say why unless the law prevents it. Either way you can export your library first, in formats other tools read.

The fine print

Bindle is run by one person and is provided as-is, without warranty. Pages are fetched on a best-effort basis; some sites block archiving and some archives will fail. Bindle’s liability to you is limited to what you paid in the last twelve months. These terms may change; material changes are announced in the app and by email, and continuing to use Bindle afterwards means you accept them. Questions go to the contact page.
