The Pocket alternative that keeps the whole page.

Pocket shut down on July 8, 2025 and deleted everything that November. The lesson wasn’t “pick a better list of links” — it was that a bookmark without a copy of the page is a pointer to something that can vanish. Bindle saves the page itself: every bookmark is archived in full at save time, readable and searchable even after the original goes.

If you kept the export ZIP

Pocket’s farewell export was a ZIP of CSV files. Bindle reads it directly — no unzipping, no reformatting. Tags, saved dates and unread state come through intact, everything arrives private, and the archiver then fetches a copy of every page, which is the part Pocket never gave back.

1. Find the ZIP Pocket emailed you. Inside are one or more CSV files (part_000000.csv and so on); you don't need to unzip it.
2. Sign up for Bindle; the fourteen-day trial needs no card.
3. Open Settings, choose Import a file, and pick the ZIP (or any one CSV). Bindle shows what it found, how many you already have, and lets you tag the whole batch before it commits.
4. Watch the archiver work through your library; dead links are flagged as it goes.
5. Search inside any page you saved, including the ones that have since disappeared.

If you missed the export window

Saved pages open in a clean-text reader with inline highlights and notes. What Bindle doesn’t do is text-to-speech or Kindle delivery — if those were your Pocket habit, Instapaper is closer.
